Health Promotion at Rannoch Nursery
Health Promotion -
At Rannoch Nursery, we have adopted an holistic approach to health and wellbeing, promoting this right throughout the whole of the nursery and into the wider community.
In the nursery foyer, there is a Health and Wellbeing notice board set up for staff, children, parents/carers and visitors who come into our nursery. On this board you will meet our Health Promotion Team consisting of staff and children.
Learning about Health and Wellbeing ensures that all children and young people develop the knowledge and understanding, skills, capabilities and attributes which they need for their mental health, emotional, social and physical well being for now and into the future.
There is a Health and Wellbeing framework, which describes features of the environment for learning which will support and nurture the health and wellbeing of our children and young people.
In June 2015, Rannoch Nursery has been accrediated Level 3 for Promoting Health and Wellbeing. We are so proud of this achievement as we are thr fisrt in Falkirk Council to be awarded this. Well done to all our staff, children, parents/carers and professionals who has helped with this process.
All of the Health and Wellbeing folders, documents and any other information can be found on the nursery noticeboard in the foyer.
